Forklift Driver

Location: Glasgow

Aims and Objectives

To work as part of a team to deliver elements of the project scope/ packages within time, quality and budget
To work with Clients to produce a relationship that results in repeat business
To work within the Emtec Building Services culture and ethos and work in line with the Emtec Building Services Procedures
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Ability to operate a forklift (counterbalance) up to 5t in a workshop environment
Check the forklift in line with the recommended daily, weekly checks
Assist with all workshop task and work with the team assisting on various tasks
Ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy
Organise all loading and off-loading of materials in line with safety documentation

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:

Essential

Relevant training and certification in counterbalance forklift certificates
Good organisational skills
Capable of working with minimum supervision
Ability and willingness to travel and work within the office or based on sites as required
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communications skills
ECS/CSCS
Desirable

Experience of working in HVAC industry
Driving licence
First aid certified
