Emtec Group Ltd are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as an IT Desktop Support Engineer within our Head Office in Uddingston. As the IT Desktop Support Engineer, you will work with business stakeholders at all levels to ensure that they have access to IT systems that support the delivery of high quality services leading to the achievement of the organisation's objectives and targets.
About the Role:
The role will include receiving and logging requests for support from users; investigating problems and other requests for support and determining appropriate actions to take. Prioritising requests in accordance with agreed criteria and with reference to Line Manager.
You will provide correct responses to requests for support by making modifications to systems, developing work-arounds, changing operating procedures, producing additional documentation, or liaising with software vendors ensuring all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
