​Emtec Fire Systems recently invited colleagues to take part in a virtual reality sprinkler system training from Viking-Emea. The unique training platform provides the user with an in-depth exploration of Viking valves and system functionality. Users can easily learn about the components and functions of Viking valves and systems through simulations and interaction. At our training session we covered wet, dry, deluge. Pre-action and foam systems.

The VR systems allows service engineers, designer and trainee designers an in depth look at the workings of the sprinkler fire system(s). The technology allows you to have a look inside the alarm valve as it’s operating which is impressive as well being able to drain and reset the system using the VR tools is a good addition.
