This project involved the transformation and restoration of the Grade C listed building in Edinburgh which is set to be one of the largest printmaking facilities created for artists in Europe.
Works involved alterations, refurbishment and extension of existing accommodation to provide gallery, workshop, education and office space for Edinburgh Printmakers. There is also a shop and café for commercial use. The works comprised over two levels with an additional plantroom being made at roof level. Lighting control is present throughout this build with dali control in use. This allows lighting areas to be zoned and controlled from a PC. Heating and ventilation is installed throughout to allow comfort for the end user, served by a mixture of 4-Pipe Fan coil units and underfloor heating systems
