Emtec Property were contracted to carry out the refurbishment of 2nr Art Departments and 1nr music department across 2 schools in North Lanarkshire. 

Contract Value: £800,000

Works comprised of the removal of asbestos, removal of existing FF&E, stripping out existing services, new partitions, internal doors and ironmongery. New floors, walls and ceiling finishes, new fixed furniture and decoration.  Renewing mechanical and electrical installations including ventilation installation.  We also converted 2 nr rooms on the ground floor to a dance studio and gym, complete with ballet barre and dance floor installation.  Material delivery and demolition arisings were all removed outwith school busy periods.  All works were carried out during term time and concurrently with the other school.  The projects required close liaison with the school, design team and local authority.
